As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many incredible moments, but Cameron and Noah’s one-year anniversary session at Stone Mountain was extra special! Their wedding, one of my all-time favorites, had a stunning Lord of the Rings theme that was simply magical. If you missed it, take a look back at their beautiful day HERE.
For their anniversary session, we started at the picturesque covered bridge just as the sun was casting that dreamy golden-hour light that every photographer adores. It was fun and going as planned, but somehow they made it even more spectacular — when they dropped the most amazing news! About 20 minutes in, they surprised me with their ultrasound and announced they are expecting a baby! I was completely shocked, and I couldn’t be happier for them. They are going to make not only the most wonderful parents but also the coolest ones!
After celebrating their big news, we continued the session at the Stone Mountain Grist Mill. The backdrop was straight out of a postcard, with its serene beauty complementing their joy.
We even found a majestic tree bathed in the perfect light, and it felt like it was waiting just for them.
This session was a true celebration of love, life, and new beginnings — moments like this are why I absolutely love being a photographer.
Congratulations, Cameron and Noah — you’re going to be the best parents, and I know your little one is already so loved!
