I recently had the pleasure of capturing Brianna and William’s engagement session at the stunning Cochran Mill Park in Palmetto, GA. It was my first time exploring this beautiful location, and I was absolutely blown away by the scenery. A short hike led us to a mesmerizing waterfall framed by vibrant fall leaves and old stone ruins that hinted at the park’s rich history. Cochran Mill Park gets its name from the grist mills operated by the Cochran family in the late 1800s and early 1900s. On the park’s west side, the Henry family also ran a mill around 1850. The blend of history and natural beauty made it the perfect setting for engagement photos.
Back to Brianna and William! This sweet couple is tying the knot in February, and their excitement for their wedding day was so contagious. We spent the session laughing, chatting about their plans, and even yelling over the waterfall to capture the perfect shots. With the waterfall’s powerful cascade as our backdrop, the colors of fall surrounding us, and a quaint bridge nearby, every scene seemed more beautiful than the last.
The combination of Cochran Mill’s breathtaking views and Brianna and William's joyful energy made this session one for the books. As a Georgia Wedding Photographer, it's always exciting to find new, incredible spots like this to bring a couple’s story to life. I can’t wait to capture the next chapter for Brianna and William on their wedding day!
To wrap up this amazing engagement session, I invite you to join me in celebrating Brianna and William as they prepare for their big day!
